STATUTES
1. General Provisions
1.1. The Club operates in accordance with the laws and regulations of the Republic of Latvia and these Articles of Association.
1.2. The territory of the Club’s activities is Latvia, with the possibility of participating in activities outside its borders.
2. Objectives and Tasks of the Club
2.1. To unite Land Rover Defender owners and enthusiasts.
2.2. To promote the preservation of Defender history, culture, and off-road driving traditions.
2.3. To organize events, trips, and meetings.
2.4. To encourage the exchange of experience, knowledge, and information among Club members.
3. Club Members
3.1. Any natural person who supports the objectives of the Club may become a member of the Club.
3.2. Membership in the Club is voluntary.
3.3. Admission of a member takes place by submitting an application and receiving approval from the Club.
3.4. A member has the right to participate in Club events and to receive information about the Club’s activities.
4. Obligations of Members
4.1. To comply with these Articles of Association and the Club’s internal rules.
4.2. To treat other Club members with respect.
4.3. To participate in the Club’s activities within one’s capabilities.
5. Club Management
5.1. The activities of the Club are organized by the Club’s management (Board / Coordinators).
5.2. The Club’s management represents the Club, organizes events, and makes decisions regarding the Club’s day-to-day operations.
6. Financial Resources
6.1. The Club’s funds may be formed from membership fees, donations, and other lawful sources.
6.2. The funds shall be used exclusively for achieving the objectives of the Club.
7. Termination of Membership
7.1. A member may withdraw from the Club at their own discretion.
7.2. The Club may terminate a member’s membership in cases of serious violations of the Articles of Association or ethical standards.
8. Final Provisions
8.1. Amendments to the Articles of Association shall be approved in accordance with the procedure established by the Club.
8.2. These Articles of Association enter into force at the moment of their approval.
